Crosspoint anticipates the latest developments in 4K and IP environments at BIT 2016
The most recent launches of solutions by companies such as Grass Valley, Lawo, Riedel, AJA, Jünger Audio, Digigram or Hi Tech Systems will be present at the Crosspoint stand at BIT 2016.
Crosspoint will present at stand 12B01 of the Professional Audiovisual Technology Exhibition (BIT 2016), from May 24 to 26 at Feria de Madrid (IFEMA), the most important innovations from the brands represented, highlighting the innovations related to the 4K format and IP work environments with the most interesting and technologically advanced solutions that the global audiovisual market is demanding, in all areas, from production to content broadcast.
Among others, Crosspoint together with Grass Valley will exhibit the latest solutions released at NAB such as the hybrid IP routing platform for Broadcast and SDI/IP signal processing, GV Node; the new 4K camera with the possibility of working in HDR and UltraSlow Motion (x6), LDX-86; the integrated playout platform in its 4K and VOD (video on-demand) versions, iTX; one of the most versatile multiscreens on the market, the Kaleido MX-4K; the 4K and UltraSlow Motion replay server, K2 Dyno Universe; as well as other new products for cost optimization such as the new LDX-75 cameras for HD-SDI environments and the new GV Korona 1 or 2 M/Es mixer.
As for the German manufacturers, Lawo and Riedel, Crosspoint will present the latest news and updates to the world-renowned unified control system, Lawo VSM. As well as the innovations of Riedel Technologies for the MediorNet media distribution system with MicroN that offers the highest density of SDI signals on the market and for the intercom system with the new SmartPanel panels.
AJA
Another great point of interest will be the news presented by Aja Video: Helo, the most economical and compact way to encode, record and stream H-264. RovoCam, the most compact 4K/HD camera on HDBaseT. U-TAP, to capture SDI and HDMI over USB 3.0. Hi5-4K Plus, 4K/UltraHD converter to HDMI 2.0 and FS4, the most powerful and versatile 4K conversion and processing station.
For the first time, Crosspoint will present Jünger Audio's audio processing solutions in broadcast environments and loudness treatment for radio and television.
In addition, other relevant innovations from manufacturers such as Digigram with professional H.265 video encoders and for WebTV, Aqord Link and Aquilim Fit will be presented; Hi Tech Systems with Array/Avita control systems; Belden with its complete and exceptional range of cables for all types of situations and of course, the own products developed and manufactured by Crosspoint, such as the UMA monitoring system and the HUB DSP management system.
Conferences
As in previous events, Crosspoint is committed to disseminating and sharing the most advanced technological solutions together with our international partners. To this end, it has scheduled a cycle of daily conferences with special relevance to the UHD-4K/HDR conference and other challenges in capturing live images, in the main auditorium, led by Klaus Weber, a renowned voice on the subject, and the K2 Dyno Universe – 4K update session in the conference area of the stand itself.
In recognition of this technological innovation and continuous support for new formats and standards, Crosspoint has been nominated for the Panorama Audiovisual awards in the category of Best Installation.
