Telecinco records the miniseries 'Forgive me Lord' in Barbate

Outstanding natural and urban enclaves of the Cadiz town of Barbate make up the main locations of Forgive me Lord, a Telecinco miniseries starring Paz Vega, Stany Coppet and Jesús Castro, which tells the story of a brave and committed nun who travels to her homeland to reunite with her past and resolve pending issues. This eight-part fiction, whose recording began on March 29, will complete the filming process next June.
Behind the cameras, Alejandro Bazzano, Alberto Ruiz Rojo and Rafa Montesinos direct this miniseries that has in its artistic team renowned actors and new promises of national interpretation such as Paco Tous, Jose Manuel Seda, Silvia Marty, Lucía Guerrero, Pau Cólera, Andrea Duro, Christian Sánchez, Sandra Collantes, Estefanía de los Santos, Diego Domínguez, Luisa Gavasa, Helena Kaitani and Mercedes León, among other actors, and with the special collaborations by Antonio de la Torre and Ruth Gabriel.
Producida por la cadena en colaboración con Gossip Event & Productions, Forgive me Lord is a fiction scripted by Antonio Onetti (Love is forever, Father courage) that combines action, love, drama and great dilemmas in its narrative axis.
Barbate, main stage
The urban center of Barbate and the 25 kilometers of its coastline are currently hosting the filming of Forgive me Lord. Among the urban settings, the sea and fishing ports, the Trafalgar Institute, the streets and buildings of the town and the old fish market stand out. Various sequences of chases and reunions have been filmed in spectacular natural locations such as Playa de la Hierbabuena, Playa de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Monte de Los Alemanes and the La Breña and Marismas del Barbate Natural Park.
The Trafalgar Lighthouse and various enclaves of Zahora and Los Caños de Meca complete the Cádiz locations of 'Perdóname Señor', which in the coming weeks will travel to Tangier. The streets of the medina, the souk and the mosque of the Moroccan city will be other settings for the fiction.
