The pilot chapter of 'Doomed', created by Guillermo García Carsí, the creator of 'Pocoyó', selected to participate in the prestigious Pictoplasma Festival in Berlin, Animac in Lleida and the Tehran Internationa Animation Festival.
All these 'condemned' beings will travel in the coming months to several of the international festivals specialized in the sector, in which El Señor Studio will present the project Doomed, still in the financing search phase.
A journey that begins at Animac, the International Film Festival of Catalonia in Lleida, on February 25 within its 'Inventions and Fantasies' section. Subsequently, it will participate in the seventh Tehran International Animation Festival that will take place in the Iranian capital from March 6 to 10, where it will compete for its awards with projects from all over the world. The third of the confirmed events to date will take you to none other than the Pictoplasma festival in Berlin, one of the largest celebrations of contemporary culture worldwide, which over four days (from April 6 to 9) proposes an intense program of artistic presentations, conferences, readings, installations, performances and the animation festival, within which it will share the bill with the most recent works of the most talented creators in the world of animation, such as Not To Scale, Max Hettler, David OReilly, Punga, Trunk and Dean Fleischer-Camp, among others.
Guillermo García Carsí completed higher studies in Animation at Bournemouth Art College, in London. He is the creator and director of the children's series Pocoyo for Zinkia and its international success has been recognized with a long list of prestigious awards: ANNECY for Best Television Series and BAFTA Best Preschool Series, among others.
He has worked as an animator and director for Cartoon Network Spain. In June 2009 I founded El Señor Studio to launch its new projects.
