3D animators, a profile with increasing demand

IED Madrid launches training cycles on 3D animation, games and interactive environments.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, a report from the World Economic Forum, explains the keys to the impact of new technologies on changes in the labor market. Are Spain and its new generations prepared for this great change in the labor market?

The labor market will undergo important changes over the next 5 years, and the development of new technologies will have a lot to do with it. The key will be digitalization, which will mean the loss of many jobs, but the arrival of new ones that will require highly qualified workers with technical knowledge. According to the report, 2.1 million jobs will be created worldwide in the new technologies, programming and application development sectors.

The world of animation is one of the sectors that arouses the most interest among young people, and has a high demand for both training and jobs. Advertising, cinema, video games or television are some of the final destinations of the productions created by these professionals, although 3D animation is used for a multitude of other purposes, such as architecture, the presentation of high-level projects, educational videos, storytelling... which generates a high number of jobs.

Along these lines, the school dedicated to the world of design, IED Madrid, will launch a new training cycle in 3D animation, games and interactive environments in 2016/17.

Thanks to the IED Madrid training cycles, students have access to highly professional training that will allow them to enter the labor market in just two years. IED Madrid will focus on theoretical-practical training in which the student can participate in real projects with companies, a great opportunity for learning and networking.
