Every week, millions of homes eagerly await the content of Pocoyo-English, Pocoyó's YouTube channel in English created by the Spanish company Zinkia Entertainment. Proof of this, this week it has surpassed one million subscribers and already has one billion visits, proof of the trust placed by parents around the world.

The Pocoyó channel in English was launched by Zinkia with the aim of offering quality content and maintaining a close relationship with fans of the series, publishing a weekly video and creating exclusive material, such as special promotions (Valentine's Day, Christmas, Back to School...), craft videos, toy unboxing, etc.

Although the audience is spread throughout the world, it should be noted that 23% of the audience is concentrated in the United States, followed by the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the Philippines.

Among the channel's most viewed videos are the special Pocoyó themed programs, created specifically for YouTube, the long-duration videos (packaged in 30, 60 or 90 minutes) and the classic episodes.

Juan Baixeras, general commercial director of Zinkia, recognizes that "it means a lot to us to have reached this milestone on the video platform par excellence, and even more so on the English channel. When we created it, our main objective was to be able to reach more and more children and parents, following the international spirit of the brand, and these new figures encourage us to continue advancing to bring the best content to American homes and the rest of English-speaking homes."

Google Distinction

The channel has obtained the distinction Google Preferred, becoming part of a selection of the most relevant YouTube channels, which ensures quality content for advertisers. Pocoyo has always been a guarantee of content suitable for children, entertaining but with many educational qualities, the perfect “pack” for advertising.

For this reason, this animated series is one of the most relevant children's brands on YouTube, not only in terms of subscribers and views, but also with respect to its involvement in the Google platform.

On the other hand, it has been an example of “best practice” in the manuals that the platform produces so that creators on YouTube can understand the platform and grow on it. It is also a multichannel strategy model, which allows you to reach a global audience, and also long-form videos.

Since its creation in 2011, the channel has had constant evolution and has marked Zinkia's first step to create a multichannel strategy, offering one for each language. As of today, it has 17 channels in different languages.
