The valley is working with Microsoft to bring Amberfin's standards conversion capabilities to the cloud. This powerful tool for multi-standard video transcoding will be available to everyone through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
The new xN Standards Converter cloud service, based on Amberfin technology, will offer high-quality motion-compensated frame rate conversion in the cloud, becoming a truly accessible file-based standards conversion tool.
Ben Davenport, Marketing Director at Dalet, highlights that "Amberfin has long been the benchmark for standards-based file conversion. With Amberfin, we made file-based standards conversion possible by exploiting high-quality, high-performance computing making international video sharing more accessible. Today, we're doing the same thing again, but this time we're going a step further by taking those capabilities to the cloud and making international video sharing available to everyone."
Sudheer Sirivara, director of Azure Media Services and Azure CDN (Microsoft) maintains that "thanks to Dalet's XN standards converter available in Microsoft Azure, Dalet democratizes Amberfin's own international video exchange capabilities. Users will simply upload their video files and select the desired output video standard."
Easy to use thanks to a friendly interface and a pay-per-use model, Dalet's xN Standards Converter identifies the simplest configuration and outputs the final video products in the highest possible quality. In addition, it allows you to handle multiple transcoding projects simultaneously.
