Sacromonte Films and Telecinco Cinema produce 'Omega'
Coinciding with the remastering of the legendary album that Enrique Morente recorded twenty years ago in the company of Lagartija Nick, José Sánchez-Montes directs this feature-length documentary that recalls that record release.
In October of this year the premiere of the long documentary that narrates the recording of Omega, the revolutionary album by Enrique Morente and Lagartija Nick that groundbreakingly fused flamenco, the punk sound of electric guitars and the timeless poetry of Federico García Lorca supported by Leonard Cohen scores.
Omega is being directed and scripted by José Sánchez-Montes (legend time o Morente dreams of the Alhambra) and produced by Sacromonte Films, Telecinco Cinema and Universal Music Spain, with the participation of Mediaset España. Participating in the production is Gervasio Iglesias, producer, among others, of documentaries such as Pure and pure Triana (Grammy nominated) or legend time and films like The minimal island.
Likewise, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the publication of the album, Universal Music Spain will do a reissue and remastering of the original that will have extended content.
