TVE will offer twenty signals from the Olympic Games, for the first time, on any device
RTVE.es launches its official app for the Olympic Games. for iOS and Android, with up to nineteen live signals and four exclusive channels.
You can now download the new app for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games that Spanish Television makes available to its viewers so that they can follow the Olympic event with up to nineteen live signals from mobile devices and tablets. The official RTVE application, available for Android and IOS, will offer all the news about the Olympic event, the complete medal table, and the entire Olympics programming. and test results.
Of the nineteen channels available at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, four of them will be exclusive to RTVE.es with the possibility of having voiceovers in Spanish by TVE's team of special envoys to the sporting event. Likewise, the quality of the videos will adapt to the available bandwidth.
Once completed, the tests can be viewed A la Carte and the medal table will be updated in real time. In addition, the programming calendar has information on the live shows that are taking place at that time and also on past and future competitions.
The RTVE.es user will also be able to configure notifications to instantly receive information about the latest events, events with medals at stake and the performance of the Spanish. They can also be shared on social networks.
RTVE already launched the virtual reality application on July 20 Live Rio: Heroines, developed by the Lab of RTVE.es in collaboration with inMediaStudio, focused on five stories of Spanish athletes with a chance to win a medal who tell their training in the first person.
The RTVE website has focused on the Rio Games with a large display that will include 4,500 hours of live programming and 6,000 of Video On Demand (VOD). In addition, video meetings with the protagonists, tests that are not included on television and exclusive content prepared by RTVE Digital's special envoys.
For the first time, all signals will be available from any device: web, mobile phone, tablet and through the Red Button on connected televisions. Another new feature that is being incorporated is a smartwatch application with the latest news and the competition medal table. Users will also be able to follow everything that happens in Rio through social networks with extensive following and exclusive content.
