Molotov Tv

Sky has closed an investment of 4 million euros in the French OTT video platform Molotov launched on the market just two months ago. This operation is part of an investment plan in different OTT services and digital start-ups that Sky began last March with the purchase of a share package valued at 45 million dollars in the Asian platform Iflix followed by its entry into the US streaming service, FutboTv.

Although Molotov started its project two years ago, it was not until this summer that the platform began its journey offering 35 channels, including 25 of the main French networks, and access to ten hours of its content library for free. In addition, for just ten euros, subscribers can receive 37 additional channels.

under the slogan Television is dead, long live television!, Molotov is a project promoted by Jean David Blanc, (founder of AlloCiné), Pierre Lescure (one of the promoters of Canal+ and president of the Cannes Film Festival) and Jean-Marc Denoual, former executive of TF1 Group.
