Vizrt presents Viz Pilot Edge, a new HTML -based tool for writing

Viz Pilot Edge fully supports the workflow of Meta-Graphics, an exclusive feature of the Bizrt Graphic and Video Production Tools.

Vizrt He is carrying out in IBC 2016 demonstrations of his new HTML -based writing system: Viz Pilot Edge. The component is a new interface for journalists who use Viz Pilot in the control systems of their writing room (NRCS). It allows the journalist to easily fill in graphics templates with text, images, graphics and video.

Viz Pilot Edge, the journalist's interface based on a search engine and easy to use, provides all the tools that a journalist needs to work by creating graphics in a writing room script. Viz Pilot Edge is compatible with Mac and PC and works natively in the Octopus and ENPS writing room system such as plug-in mos.

This new solution is part of the production tool based on Viz Pilot templates. The new writing room interface allows the installation on server sides and extensions for the entire writing room.

Using Meta-Graphics allows journalists to add graphics to a chronological line, but save them as metadata. The graphics are not recorded in the video, but are shown live during the broadcast, allowing journalists to make changes in the graphics, either content or time, until the moment they are broadcast.
