11th edition of the Spanish Film Screenings

The president of FAPAE (Confederation of Spanish audiovisual producers), Ramon Colom, accompanied by the mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre and the director of the Malaga Festival, Juan Antonio Vigar, presented this Tuesday at the Film Academy the eleventh edition of the Spanish Film Screenings, which, for the first time, will be held during the Malaga Festival, on March 20, 21 and 22, 2017.

The Spanish Film Screenings, the only market for the sale and promotion of Spanish cinema at an international level of these characteristics that takes place in our country, has become an essential event on the international agenda of the film sector.

During the three days of the event, international buyers will be able to watch the most recent films in Spanish cinema and access hundreds of Spanish premiere and catalog titles. In addition, the international press will have the opportunity to interview the actors, directors and producers of the Spanish films that will soon be released in their countries.

Parallel activities

In parallel, producers, sales agents and exhibitors will meet to create a space for exchange and business between professionals in the sector and different meetings and conferences will be held to analyze and debate the latest developments in Spanish cinematography.
