Madrid de Cine – Spanish Film Screenings celebrates its seventh edition

Los próximos 18, 19 y 20 de junio, tendrá lugar en Madrid este evento diseñado como plataforma internacional de promoción del cine español.

Los próximos 18, 19 y 20 de junio, tendrá lugar la VII edición de Madrid de Cine – Spanish Film Screenings. Un evento, organizado por FAP (Federation of Associations of Spanish Audiovisual Producers), designed as an international platform for the promotion of Spanish cinema, whose main objective is to promote international sales of Spanish cinema and facilitate access for the international press to our cinema with interviews with Spanish actors, producers and directors.

Among the numerous activities carried out, it is worth highlighting viewings of the most recent Spanish films for international buyers, during the three days that the event lasts, at the Princesa Cinemas.

Además, los compradores disponen de una videoteca con acceso a cientos de títulos españoles de estreno y catálogo, ubicada en la sede del evento de este año, el Hotel Santo Domingo.

Los agentes de venta que lo desean también cuentan con un stand de uso exclusivo, situado en zona preferente en el hotel, donde se realizan reuniones bilaterales entre vendedores y compradores.

Cabe destacar la realización, durante todo el mercado, de entrevistas exclusivas para la prensa internacional con los equipos de las películas que próximamente se estrenaran en sus países.

75 companies from 29 countries attended the 2011 edition and 47 films participated in the Screenings. A total of 217 titles, 79 more than in the previous edition, were available to buyers in the video library, in which 96 viewings were made. 21 international media attended from the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Greece and correspondents from the US, Central America and Latin America.
