First audio monitor to support uncompressed video over IP
TSL's new PAM-IP range allows monitoring of video, audio and associated metadata directly from an IP stream.
TSL has launched the first audio monitor for uncompressed IP video. The new PAM-IP range allows monitoring of video, audio and associated metadata directly from an IP stream, without the need for superfluous format conversion hardware, thereby facilitating the transition to a fully IP workflow. It is ideal for any facility requiring production and transmission of live productions, such as sports, news and live events.
The PAM-IP range can control video, audio and their associated metadata from a traditional 3G-SDI connection or an S2022-6 IP stream. It works perfectly in a hybrid environment where an SDI, AES and analog infrastructure can be monitored alongside an IP-based infrastructure. With all of these connectivity options, the PAM-IP range offers more flexibility than any control device format currently available.
Another of TSL's novelties at IBC was its new MPA family of monitoring solutions, which offers greater ease of use and excellent sound quality. It is ideal for established I/O – such as MADI, SDI, AES-3 and analog – while accompanying the evolution of the audio industry on IP workflows with support for Dante and Ravenna. The new products are available in two models: Solo (a single channel) and MIX (allows you to create a simple monitoring mix).
