The 4K-UHD Summit will bring together top-level international speakers in Seville

The 4K-UHD Summit in Seville, which in this edition will focus on HDR, live and virtual reality, will feature the participation of top-level speakers and the main international technology and UHD content companies.

On November 10 and 11, Seville will become the world capital of Ultra High Definition with the celebration of the 4K-UHD Summit.

After the success of the last edition of these conferences, organized by Medina Media as Panorama Audiovisual as a media partner, there are already numerous top-level speakers who have confirmed their participation in some of the presentations and panels that will be held.

The 4K-UHD Summit in Seville, which will focus this year on HDR, live and virtual reality, will feature the participation of top-level speakers and the main international technology and UHD content companies.

Among the speakers with a high technical profile who will travel to the Andalusian capital, the Director of Operations and Deployment at Telefónica R&D, Rubén Mellado, stands out; the director of technology, innovation and systems of RTVE and member of the EBU Technical Committee, Pere Vila; or the CTO and director of operations of the Mediapro group, Emili Planas.

En cuanto a la producción y distribución de contenidos en 4K, cabe también destacar la presencia de Prashant Chothani, CEO y director general de Travelxp & Media Worldwide Limited, una emisión de Indian Company. Chothani es pionero en el lanzamiento del servicio HD en la India y lleva impulsando el 4K desde 2015 en su país con el lanzamiento del canal Travelxp 4K.

En lo que a fabricantes se refiere, cabe señalar que participarán en la 4K-UHD Summit, Klaus Weber Senior Product Marketing Manager, Camera en Grass Valley; Miguel Ángel Doncel, CEO de Sgo; o David Smith, responsable para toda Europa de ventas, marketing y diseño de sistemas de televisión UHD, incluidos codificadores HEVC, flujos de trabajo 4K y los correspondientes productos de test y medida en Rohde&Schwarz. Smith es todo un experto en los campos de compresión HEVC/H.265, transmisión DVB-T/T2 y DVB-S/S2, y sistemas OTT/IPTV y MPEG-DASH.
