The 4K Summit in Seville makes its agenda public

The most relevant international event regarding Ultra High Definition organizes numerous presentations, round tables and workshops on November 10 and 11 in Seville in which prominent experts will participate.

The 4K Summit of Seville, the most relevant international event regarding Ultra High Definition that has Panorama Audiovisual as Main Media Partner, has just published its agenda for the days of celebration, November 10 and 11 at the Ribera de Triana Hotel in the Andalusian capital.

The meeting will be inaugurated by the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Susana Díaz; the mayor of Seville, Juan Espadas; and deputy director general of Radio and Television of Andalusia (RTVA), Joaquín Durán.

Among the numerous round tables that will take place in the two days stands out the one dedicated to debate on the different distribution platforms (cable vs SAT vs TDT vs 5G) in which will participate Fernando Soto (Movistar), Luis Sahún (SES Astra), Michel Chabrol (Eutelsat), Inés Sanz (Cell Xon) and Xavier Xanax).

In another round table, focused on the production of live events in Ultra High Definition, Emili Planas (mediapro), Cristiano Benzi (Eutelsat), Klaius Weber (Grass Valley), Gustavo Marra (Ateme) and Mark Horton (Ericsson) will participate.

For their part, Miguel A. Ruiz (Samsung), Miguel Ángel Doncel (Sgo) and Benjamín Niven-Jenkins (Nokia) will discuss the role that UHD can play in virtual reality environments.

There will also be a panel on the production of Ultra High Definition content. In this debate, Rob Overman (Stingray Discovery), Paulo Rabello (Tv Globo), Ricardo Medina (Medina Media 4K) and Alejandro Vega (RTVE Digital) will exchange impressions.

Ya en la segunda jornada, está programada una mesa redonda sobre HDR con la intervención de Peter Sykes (Sony), Klaus Weber (Grass Valley), David Smith (Rohde & Schwarz) y Jaume Miró (Panasonic) y otras sobre la innovación y el futuro de la UHD en la que intervendrán Raúl Mellado (Movistar), Miguel Pingarrón (SES Astra), Pere Vila (RTVE) y Salvador Luna (Fujifilm).

Among the scheduled presentations, those given by María Jesús Almanzor (Movistar), Paulo Rabello (Tv Globo), Massimo Bertolotti (Sky), Prashant Chothani (Travel XP), Hans Hoffmann (UER/EBU), Josh Stinehour (Devoncroft) and Mark Horton (UHD Forum) stand out.

As an honorary speaker, the 4K Summit in Seville will have the presence of Manolo Romero, founder of Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) and president of International Sports Broadcasting (ISB).

Por último, señalar que paralelamente durante las dos jornadas se han programado una serie de workshops a cargo de Panasonic, Fujifilm, Rohde & Schwarz, Dolby, Canon, Sony, Sgo, Axión, FilmLight, Canal Sur, RTVE y Hurí Tv.
