Drax Audio inaugurates its new Skyline sound room

This room is the result of Drax Audio's collaboration with sound engineer and producer Iván Guerrero, who has more than twenty-five years of experience in the sector.

Drax Audio has just inaugurated a new sound room at its facilities in Madrid.

This new room named Skyline brings digital and analog technology to the studio in a completely remodeled and functional space.

Skyline is the result of the agreement between the studio and the engineer and producer Iván Guerrero, who has extensive experience in recording studios both in Spain (Infinity, Eurosonic, Rec Master, Ritmo y Compás, Synthesis, Pink Noise, Happy Jack, Jingle Box) and outside our borders (Miami, Paris...).

"Music production is the main activity of the Skyline room. It offers the musical creator the possibility of developing projects from composition to mastering, in a closer and more personalized way," says Guerrero, who, at the end of the 90s, worked at Eurosonic, legendary studios in the 70s, 80s and 90s, where Drax Audio has been located since 2011.

“The unbeatable team of professionals, its excellent rooms and first-rate technical equipment make DRAX audio an ideal place,” explained the engineer in relation to his reasons for settling in the Madrid studio.

Con la apertura de Skyline, Drax amplía, aún más, su portfolio actual de cara a ofrecer servicios al sector publicitario, cinematográfico, televisivo y discográfico.

Las salas de Drax Audio

• Eastlake. Diseñada y construida por los estudios de ingeniería acústica Eastlake, cuenta con más de 150 m2 distribuidos entre sala y control. Consta de 3 espacios acústicos diferenciados, de utilización simultánea y aislados entre sí: una sala de acústica absorbente, una sala brillante de respuesta variable y un espacio vocal-instrumento.
• Sala Hawaii. También con diseño y construcción Eastlake, cuenta con una delicada acústica variable, casi 100 m2 de superficie y un control similar al de la sala Eastlake, pero de diferente carácter.
• Sala Kyoto. Dispone de un acceso individual y exclusivo a todo el “stage”, con pre-recepción y área de descanso/reunión. Con luz natural y acústica variable de más de 25 m2, y control de grabación y mezcla único en el sector con 50 m2. Altura de más de 3 metros que la dota de un volumen de sala inmejorable.
• Sala Skyline. Sala dedicada a la producción discográfica pero totalmente compatible para la postproducción A/V. Aporta tecnología digital y analógica en un espacio totalmente remodelado y funcional.
