With this type of video, the viewer will be able to see what is happening around the person broadcasting the content or see the ins and outs of very exclusive events.

After the purchase of Periscope and the launch of the live video streaming service, Twitter goes one step further by offering its users the possibility of capturing and distributing live 360 video.

This possibility will, for now, be available to some tweeters selected by the social network, although their productions can be viewed by all users. According to Twitter, “with this type of videos the viewer will be able to see what is happening around the person broadcasting the content or see the ins and outs of very exclusive events.”

To see the entire image of a 360-degree video on Twitter (identified with the 'Live 360' label), the user will only have to move the mobile phone to move around the image that is being broadcast. In the case of computers, all you have to do is move the mouse across the screen.

With this initiative, Twitter takes a new step to integrate video as one of the elements that generates the most loyalty among users, as Faceook has already seen, and the bird company even has among its plans for 2017 to close alliances with television channels for the distribution of its signals through Twitter.
