This Monday, January 23, at 10:40 p.m., the Spanish Television 1 premieres the great musical challenge, a new contest in which eight celebrities, divided into two teams, will face with a lot of humor and rhythm a list full of musical successes whose interpreters will have to guess. The songs will reach their ears through very original interpretations and with unexpected and fun evidence. The format, produced by RTVE with the collaboration of Zeppelin TV (Endemol Shine Iberia), is endorsed by its great success in France (TF1), Germany (RTL), Australia (7 Network), Italy (Rai1) and Holland (RTL4) where the space is called The big music quiz.
Eva Gonzaléz will be in charge of conducting the space, discovering her skills as Show Woman, moving in new records that will surprise the audience in a program that not only raises a musical challenge to the contestants, but also to the spectators, in order to spend a fun night.
In each program, eight celebrities divided into two teams, will compete with a lot of humor, rhythm and music to accumulate points on their markers. As? Guessing the interpreters of the themes of all the styles and times that will sound throughout each delivery. Carlos Baute, Santiago Segura, Fran Rivera, Antonio Carmona, Anabel Alonso, Ruth Lorenzo, Rossy de Palma and Ana Milan will be the first contestants of the program.
Among the guests of the following deliveries will be singers such as Pitingo, Manu Tenorio, Falete or Julio Iglesias Junior; actors such as Antonio Velázquez, Paula Prendes or Melani Olivares; presenters such as Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, Nieves Herrero, Elena S. Sánchez or Màxim Huerta; humorists like Santiago Segura or José Corbacho; and more faces known as Norma Duval, Carmen Lomana or Bibiana Fernández, among others. All of them will be contestants, protagonists and artists. As contestants they will play showing their musical knowledge and temperate their nerves in counterreloj tests. As protagonists they will discover the spectators something curious, an anecdote or an unknown aspect of their personality through a song linked to them. As artists they will be part of the show interpreting, in different, original and fun ways, songs that others must guess.
Mechanics
During each program, guests will face six musical tests: Refining, impossible version, encasquetado, twisted themes, to the Spanish and The final.
Tuning It is an individual test, in which they will have to discover in a time limit of 30 seconds who is singing each song. The two contestants who get the most points will become captains and will have the privilege of forming their team, choosing among the rest of the participants.
Once the two teams are formed, the competition begins with the test Impossible version: To answer they must be the fastest to tighten the button. If they do not succeed, you can answer the rival team, provided you have pressed. In this test the contestants listen to songs in different versions to the original: with surprising instruments, without lyrics or interpreted by the contestants themselves.
In Pigs The guests do not listen to the original songs but others do it through some helmets, and sing them in their own way. The "encasquetado" singers will be children, grandparents or the contestants themselves.
In twisted issues, participation mechanics change. The contestants continue to play with a button but, on this occasion, they face a member of the other team in a ‘face to face’. The songs in this section will be heard distortedly.
To the Spanish It is the test where teams listen to foreign songs versioned by national artists, as well as songs that crossed our borders to be versioned in other languages.
Finally, the team that has accumulated more points will go to The final Where, each of its four members, will have to individually guess the largest number of singers from a list of 20 songs in a time limit. The contestant who gets more points will be the winner of the night and will get 2,000 euros to allocate them to the solidarity association of their choice. For its part, the loser team will have to face musical punishment: dance a fun choreography that has gone viral and will vary in each program.
