TV5 produces the grand finale of its music competition with TVU Networks

The TVU One transmitter, among other equipment TVU Networks, allowed Philippine television TV5 broadcast the final of its contest Awesome Kids from the Manila Metropolitan Theater.

Since these two final programs revealed the ultimate winner, it was equally essential that the solution handle a significant number of sources, materialized in the form of cameras that would capture the reactions of artists, jury and public.

After an exhaustive investigation, TV5 discovered that TVU Networks had significant experience in providing IP-based remote production solutions for countless live multi-camera events held in sports venues, theaters and other indoor venues around the world. The Philippine broadcaster contacted the team TVU Philippines to study the best solutions for this crucial live broadcast and finally decided on the mobile transmitter TVU One 5G, which was responsible for providing encoding and transmission from the theater to the TVU transceiver/server in TV5's main studio. Following switching, audio mixing, insertion of promotional video, subtitles and graphics in a temporary on-site studio in the theatre, the main signal was sent to the TV One and then to the TVU transceiver in the TV5 studio for decoding and simulcasting on TV5's television channels, website and social media platforms.

TVU One can simultaneously add up to 12 data connections: 3G/4G/5G LTE cellular, WiFi, Starlink, ethernet, Ka-band and Ku-band satellite, microwave and BGAN. Provides high-quality live video over a 5G cellular link infrastructure. The mobile transmitter offers the ability to transfer UHD quality live video with sub-second latency and transmit at 100 Mbps.
