La compañía de juguetes líder en el mundo será Toy Master License mundial de ‘Cleo & Cuquín’, el nuevo contenido basado en la recordada Familia Telerín.

Anima Kitchent has signed an agreement with Mattel, the world's leading toy company, to become a global Toy Master Licensee for Cleo & Cuquín, new content based on the remembered Telerin Family how popular it was in Spain and Latin America in the 70s and 80s.

Cleo & Cuquín se ha concebido como un contenido transmedia que ha iniciado su andadura en Youtube, donde está cosechando unos excelentes resultados, una serie de televisión que consta de 52 episodios de 7 minutos, dos Apps y contenido web.

Hace ya un año, la mexicana Televisa anunció que se sumaba a este proyecto como socio coproductor junto con MAI y Selecta Visión para abordar con Ánima Kitchent la aventura de transformar una breve tira de televisión en un contenido transmedia, con una nueva estética y una estrategia de marca y de licencias que mira al mercado internacional.

The launch of the series is preceded by the excellent results that Familia Telerín is obtaining on YouTube, where, in a year and a half, and with only 15 music video clips, it has obtained more than 400 Million Views and more than 900 thousand subscribers. Given the results, Ánima Kitchent will continue producing new video clips throughout 2017 that will be released in the coming months.

The series is in full production and will premiere in the last quarter of 2017. On February 14 and within the framework of the Kidscreen Summit to be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, a Cocktail will be organized to present Cleo & Cuquín where the transmedia content strategy will be announced: the first episode of the television series, the first APP: The Bedder, entering Cleo and Cuquín's house with a virtual reality application and learning about upcoming YouTube content.

Víctor M. López, CEO of Ánima Kitchent, ha destacado que “para Ánima Cleo & Cuquín se concibe como un contenido transmedia que pretende convertirse en una marca de entretenimiento. Con Mattel como toy master license para todo el mundo, este objetivo está más cerca de hacerse realidad. Tener a Mattel como socio de este proyecto nos llega de orgullo, pero también supone una enorme responsabilidad”.

For her part, Lauren DeFeo, vice president of Mattel Toy Box adds that “Ánima Kitchent's latest project, Cleo & Cuquín, is a great opportunity to give life to characters that not only the little ones like but also cause nostalgia in their parents for whom Familia Telerín is a memory of their childhood. At this moment Ánima Kitchent is in advanced negotiations with television channels in America, Europe and Asia that will take shape over the coming months.
