Estructure will participate in the NDI Central Space at NAB 2017
The different production and content management solutions of the Spanish company are now fully compatible with NDI, the IP technology that is leading the most important transformation that we are experiencing in our industry.
IP technology, which has been developing for a few years from different angles and foundations, is rapidly conquering the world of audiovisual content and news production, and already represents the most important change in our industry that we are likely to see in our lifetime.
The way in which television production will be managed from now on is completely new, freeing us from the physical and technical limitations of broadcast facilities and infrastructure, which since the birth of television have defined the possibilities and scope of action of each production. The new IP technologies, within which NDI (Network Device Interface) has already been accepted as one of the most open and viable standards, offer us almost unlimited possibilities, unimaginable until very recently.
Estructure has been working, since the birth of this initiative, to also integrate the NDI standard in its different solutions for the management and production of content and news, and that is why today it already has full NDI integration and compatibility.
If anything stands out about Estructure's contributions to our industry, it is its purpose of facilitating the tasks of professionals in the different workflows and achieving maximum compatibility through its solutions, whether standards, formats, protocols or supports, as the company has been demonstrating for more than 15 years and as it will also demonstrate at the next NAB in April.
NDI Central and NAB 2017
Compatibility with NDI has allowed Estructure to participate in the NDI Central space, specifically at the NAB stand SL5421, where eight other companies from around the world that lead NDI development will meet.
In short, the open NDI standard allows compatible products to share audio, video and data over a standard Ethernet network. The protocol allows each and every system and device on the network to be identified, and to communicate with any other bidirectionally, regardless of their location anywhere in the world through IP, and to encode, send and receive multiple signals in high quality, low latency and frame accuracy in real time.
Thanks to this technology added to those already incorporated, Estructure's well-known solutions are even more powerful, and so are its latest specific developments for IP, such as its new Nibble device for the contribution of SDI signals over IP, to and from anywhere in the world, using existing standard network infrastructure and in real time. The difference that makes Nibble the perfect application for applications of all types is being compatible and transparent with all IP transport protocols and all compression technologies.
Nibble has already been selected and purchased by companies around the world, where they are still amazed by the unmatched price-performance ratio of the system.
