The Belgian artistic director was the architect of the scenography of the group The Common Linnets, with which the Netherlands obtained second place in 2014.

Spanish Television has commissioned Belgian Hans Pannecoucke, a professional backed by a long career, to direct the staging of Manel Navarro's performance at the Eurovision Song Contest in kyiv. Well versed in the European competition, he was the architect of the stage design for the group The Common Linnets, with which the Netherlands obtained second place in 2014.

"Manel's song, Do it for your lover, has joy. It's like passing on the Spanish philosophy of knowing how to live. And the most important thing for me is to translate Manel's quality and talent into images," says Pannecoucke, who underlines the strength of simplicity in the staging: "It has to have joy, invite you to dance, and sometimes very direct and very simple things are much stronger than complicated things."

Film and television director, Belgian Hans Pannecoucke has been working as a director and director for almost three decades in Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil and India and directs and produces musical and entertainment programs for Belgian and Dutch television.

In recent years he has worked as artistic director of Eurovision: in 2014 and 2016 with the Dutch delegation, with artists such as The Common Linnets, a duo that came second in the contest in 2014, and the singer-songwriter Douwe Bob (2016); and with the Belgian Laura Tesoro, also in 2016.

Pannecoucke has been senior director of the Tomorrowland Electronic Music Festival and the EDC Las Vegas Live Stream Festival for years; and director of music videos, live recordings and DVDs of numerous international artists such as Ellie Goulding, Coldplay, Rammstein, Metallica, Hardwell, Faithless, Above and Beyond and many others, with more than 5,000 live musical recordings throughout his extensive career.
