The new ISW3000C01 is an automatic switch for managing redundant links of Transport Stream (TS) signals.

Albalá Engineers has developed a new automatic switch for DVB-ASI and DVB-IP signals with advanced TS fault detection functions, model ISW3000C01, belonging to its range of switches and gateways for Transport Stream of the TL3000 series.

This switch, which replaces the previous ASW3000C01, combines the advanced analysis capability of this module with the seamless switching capability of the IPA3000C01 modules with DVB-IP input and output interfaces in addition to DVB-ASI.

This solution allows the management of redundant links of Transport Stream (TS) signals and presents some advantages over the previous one it replaces: DVB-IP interfaces, seamless switching and operation with DVB-T2 frames and can be used in telecommunications centers, digital television headends, TS transport nodes and broadcasting centers.

Main features

– Four inputs: two DVB-ASI and two DVB over IP (UDP and RTP with and without FEC) and two analysis channels.

– Switching between the two Transport Streams that are being analyzed.

– Output DVB Transport Stream distributed to four BNC connectors (DVB-ASI) and to the Ethernet interface (DVB over IP).

– Failure criteria for input channels defined by the First priority table of the ETSI TR 101 290 V1.2.1 standard together with the presence of megaframe synchronism in DVB-T mode or superframe in DVB-T2 mode.

– Three operating modes: automatic, semi-automatic and manual.

– Bajo consumo.
