VSN solutions drive automation in the new Mexican channel image television

VSN has deployed four of its solutions (vsnmulticom, vsncreatv, vsnexplorer mam and vsnbroadrec) that allow automating, optimizing and managing the entire diffusion workflow.

The new Canal of the Imagen Group, one of the largest media conglomerates in Mexico, was officially launched in October 2016 and its broadcast reaches sixty cities through 123 broadcast points. VSN has deployed four of its solutions: vsnmulticom, vsncreatv, vsnexplorer mam and vsnbroadrec.

Complete automation

The launch of the Imagen Television channel required a complete automation workflow of the master control room (Master Control Room, MCR), integrated with the entire available third party equipment. To do this, VSN successfully implemented two VSNMulticom systems, responsible for ensuring uninterrupted transmission, using Vsncreatv for traffic and program programming.

VSN also integrated vsnmulticom and vsnexplorer mam to manage automated workflows with medium spectrum servers of Harmonic and Wideorbit media trafficking. The deployment allows Televisión to have a totally automated MCR workflow to export video clips to diffusion servers. The system can invoke video servers when a clip or programmed program is not ready to air, providing safety and efficiency to the network.

Image Television also uses the VSN automation system to segment clips and distribute them to more than forty region. By guiding programs and advertising to meet the needs of the audience, the network can achieve better audience and income results. Finally, for Television Image to record and save the entire content of the broadcast and verify that it complies with the advertising and electoral norms, VSN has implemented forty -two solutions of legal compliance vsnbroadrecrec.
