Fans from all over the world will be able to enjoy 'El Clásico', this coming Sunday, April 23 at 8:45 p.m. (CET), with the best international media coverage, which, once again, continues to grow at a record pace. Thanks to the production of Mediapro, official producer of LaLiga, spectators of the match will receive the images of the match with the most advanced audiovisual technology and the greatest possible proximity, thanks to the more than 30 international television operators that will be installed in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. With this record coverage of operators with their own cameras inside the stadium, international networks will offer all the details and unpublished images to their viewers of the great spectacle that will take place between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

The 'El Clásico' signal will be distributed to more than 185 countries by more than 50 international operators that own the audiovisual rights to the competition. With a potential audience of 650 million viewers, 'El Clásico' will once again be the most watched match in the history of the championship.

LaLiga has commissioned Mediapro to carry out extensive national and international coverage with a state-of-the-art media deployment that will have 8 mobile units, 8 DSNGs, 12 4K cameras and more than 400 professionals to make 'El Clásico' a global spectacle. In addition to these cameras, there will be auxiliary vehicles and a 40-meter-high crane to carry out the radio link with a helicopter. The space dedicated to the TV Compound will be 1500 m².

Forty cameras

The deployment includes 40 fixed cameras installed at the Santiago Bernabéu, including two Super Slow (super slow motion) to follow Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, a Spider Cam with overhead shots, a High Speed tracking shot (hyper slow motion) behind the right goal, two telephoto lenses to follow Zidane and Luis Enrique and two Beauty's cameras (interior and exterior, with crane). In the run-up to the match, two motorcycles will be used with a link to follow the Real Madrid and FC Barcelona buses and a helicopter with cameras for aerial views.

In addition, we must add the 38 Intel cameras with 360º technology, which will provide viewers with unique and multi-perspective replays, something used for the first time by LaLiga in a European league. This technology allows the viewer to enjoy a unique vision, recreating 3D replays with spectacular images of any play from all possible angles.

The expectation and impact of 'El Clásico' grows every year and, on this occasion, there will be more than 600 professionals accredited by more than 200 different media. This match will also be played on social networks under the hashtag #ElClasico, which aims to exceed 1,000 million impressions and the engagement of up to 26 million reactions that were generated among social network users in the last FC Barcelona – Real Madrid.

In Spain, Gol will focus on the match with more than 6 hours of uninterrupted programming starting at 6 pm on Sunday. The event will also include several former players and illustrious figures from the world of football, who will be at the Santiago Bernabéu to comment on the match with the different international networks: Fabio Capello (Fox Italia), Patrick Mboma (Canal+ Africa), Javier Saviola, Paco Buyo, Christian Karembeu and Eiður Smári Gudjohnsen (beIN SPORTS USA) and Omar da Fonseca (BeIn Sports France), among others.
