Christie and Las Vegas

But NAB Show attendees also have the opportunity to see examples of Christie technology in action at various locations throughout the city of Las Vegas. At the Westgate SuperBook resort and casino, a stunning 7-metre high by 68-metre wide curved Christie Velvet LED display keeps sports fans up to date. The collaboration of HB Communications, RPV and Christie is behind the creation of the gigantic 1,640-unit Christie Velvet 2.5mm LED video wall. and a whopping 65 million pixels, giving visitors to the newly renovated Westgate SuperBook the sensation of watching sporting events from the front row and experiencing the excitement of the stadium, they feel where they feel.

At the Silverton Casino Hotel, the collaboration between McCann Systems and CG Technology was expertly integrated to create an impressive 2.30 x 16 meter display using Christie Velvet LED units.

Christie brings 4K live space to NAB

Live from space, on Wednesday, April 26, at 17:30 GMT, NASA astronaut and expedition commander Peggy Whitson will broadcast live and in 4K from the International Space Station.
