The Television Academy awards the III Concha García Campoy Scientific Journalism Awards
Iñaki Gabilondo ('The world in 25 years. When it's gone', #0), Isabel Gemio ('I give you my word', Onda Cero), Antonio Martínez Ron (Vozpopuli.com) and Sonsoles Echavarren (Diario de Navarra) have been the professionals recognized with this award.
The jury of the third edition of the Concha García Campoy Scientific Journalism Award has chosen the winners of each of the categories from almost a hundred applications submitted.
The award that recognizes professional career has gone in this edition to Ramón Sánchez Ocaña for his pioneering work in disseminating health issues and disease prevention.

The jury for this edition was made up of his son Lorenzo Díaz García-Campoy, Manuel Campo Vidal (president of the Television Academy), Luis del Olmo (honorary president of the Radio Academy), Teresa Pérez Alfageme (vice president of FAPE), Pepe Quílez and Fernando Navarrete (vice presidents of the Television Academy); the producer Pepe Carbajo and the journalists Joan Serra, María Escario, Elena Sánchez and Olga Viza.
The awards ceremony will have the collaboration of Mapfre and Aproafa and will be held in Madrid next Thursday, July 6 at 7:30 p.m.
The awards, created by the Television Academy, recognize excellence in professional careers or journalistic works that convey stories related to research, scientific dissemination or health to society with rigor, ethics and commitment.
