Patrick Duprat, new country manager of Cellnex France
Graduated from INSA in Toulouse, Duprat has held different positions of responsibility at Dassault Aviation, Orange, Axion and Gobé.
Cellnex Telecom has appointed Patrick Duprat, a graduate of INSA in Toulouse, as country manager of Cellnex France. With this appointment, Cellnex advances in the consolidation of its management structure in France, a country that is one of the axes on which its growth and development strategy in Europe pivots.
After his time at Dassault Aviation and Orange, Duprat joined the TDF group in 2000. At that stage he managed the Spanish subsidiary, Axion, and later the network construction company Gobé, later transferred to the Sopélec group.
Patrick Duprat will be tasked with deploying the Cellnex group's strategy in France and executing the integration of the 3,500 sites acquired from Bouyges Telecom, which represent an investment of 1,000 million euros for Cellnex. 500 of these sites were acquired in 2016, while last February Cellnex agreed with Bouygues to acquire a package of 1,800 sites until the end of 2018 and the construction and deployment of another 1,200 until 2021.
