Cellnex inaugurates a new headquarters in France, located in Paris
With the opening of these new offices, located in the Sèvres neighborhood of Paris, the company reaffirms its commitment to France as a key country in the development of its growth strategy in Europe. Cellnex France currently has a team of 30 professionals.
Cellnex Telecom This Thursday it inaugurated its new headquarters in France, located in Paris. The Spanish company has operated in the French market since June 2016, when it acquired a first package of 500 sites from Bouygues Telecom. During 2017 the company has continued to expand its presence in France through new agreements with the French operator. In February, both companies reached an agreement for the incorporation of 3,000 new sites by Cellnex until 2021: 1,800 sites already operational and 1,200 newly built. Likewise, in July, Cellnex and Bouyges expanded the sites to be incorporated by an additional 600 until 2021.
In total, Cellnex has acquired 4,100 sites in France with a global investment of more than 1.1 billion euros.

Cellnex, a European giant
Cellnex Telecom is the main European independent operator of wireless telecommunications infrastructure, with a total portfolio of 21,268 sites (as of September 30, 2017). Cellnex carries out its activities in Spain, Italy, Holland, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
In the first nine months of 2017, the company has increased revenue by +11%, to 579 million euros, and EBITDA by +25% to 259 million - compared to the same period in 2016 -, with a net profit of 33 million euros.
Cellnex's business is structured in four large areas: services for telecommunications infrastructures, audiovisual broadcasting networks, security and emergency network services, and solutions for the intelligent management of infrastructures and urban services (smart cities and "Internet of Things" (IOT).
The company is listed on the continuous market of the Spanish Stock Exchange and is part of the selective IBEX35 and EuroStoxx 600. It is also part of the FTSE4GOOD and CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) sustainability indices.
In October, the sustainability rating agency “Standard Ethics” incorporated Cellnex Telecom into its index for Spain with an EE- (adequate) rating with a stable outlook. Cellnex thus becomes part of this index, in which other large companies in the telecommunications sector in Europe such as Deutsche Telekom, Swisscom or Telefónica also participate – with the same rating.
