Broadcast Products will be present at IBC with an interesting portfolio of solutions

The LaON intercom, the ABonAir wireless link, the contribution on 3G/4G and Wifi networks Aviwest, the Slomo TV replay system, the Robycam aerial camera solution, the Broadcast Ultrasoft process automation software and the VideoReferee video arbitration are some of the solutions that the German company will exhibit at IBC.

Broadcast Products, a division of Broadcast Solutions, will be present once again at IBC 2017 (stand 8.A74), showing some of the latest products it has added to its catalogue, most of them with exclusive distribution in many European countries.

Among the new features, the LaON intercom system stands out, mainly for scenarios and situations of use of beltpacks, using the 5 Ghz band or the Broadcast Ultrasoft software capable of managing all the processes of a television station. With the help of Slomo TV, it will showcase the latest on multichannel systems (Slow motion) and all the updates to its video arbitration system (VAR).

Broadcast Products is a new division of Broadcast Solutions in Germany, which focuses exclusively on the distribution of innovative and cutting-edge products. This division operates independently of the section in charge of integrating audiovisual systems and mobile units of Broadcast Solutions and uses its own specific channels and resources. The Broadcast Products team is working to strengthen its sales and rental activity of innovative and exclusive products. With this new division, the aim is to provide even better service to customers with technical assistance and help in production processes if necessary.

The company has a committed team of commercial directors whose primary objective is to increase the market share of existing products in addition to expanding the product portfolio. The fundamental focus is to offer products and tools to clients so that they can generate their productions faster, better and more professionally, in addition to achieving spectacular results. Additionally, Broadcast Products engineers work closely with clients at events and facilities to assist with technology and production aspects.

These are some new features that we can see in this edition of the IBC.

Intercom LaON

At IBC 2017 we will be able to see in action the LAON 5 GHz digital wireless intercom system. It is a high-performance wireless communication device that can be used when critical and clear communication is key and mobility with beltpacks is necessary. Allows the user hands-free full-duplex communications with consistent audio clarity without PTT operation.

This solution stands out for working with uncompressed audio in the UNII band without a 5GHz license. Among other features, it is worth highlighting that they allow the use of an IP-based repeater together with a remote base station, offer less than 23ms latency, up to eleven full-duplex audio channels, five communication group channels and AES 256bit Level 3 encryption.

ABonAir

ABonAir is ideal for high-quality HD video transmission; In addition, its wireless video solutions are designed to provide coverage of news, outdoor sporting events, reality programs, shows, live productions and Video Assist. ABonAir are wireless video link systems for the transmission of video content from cameras in mobile units or broadcast stations using microwave technology.

These systems offer unprecedented reliability and low latency along with integrated transmission of intercom or fiber optic extender (FCE) signals. The system operates with a delay of 7 msec and covers a distance of up to 2.5 km.

Slomo.tv

Broadcast Products, together with Slomo Tv, will show its multichannel slow motion and replay playback servers in different models, even in 4K. They offer solid disk drive (SSD) storage and can be used in the most demanding environments with virtually instant access and maximum reliability. With SimpleR series products, you can record simultaneously on 3, 4 or 6 channels (depending on model) and offer high-speed full-frame search on all recording channels, plus 2-channel playback with transition effects between them. The system uses industry-proven codecs, such as DVCPro 50/DVCPro HD and MJPEG.

Robycam

Robycam is a special movement system for aerial cameras that is made up of two elements: RobyHead, a family of gyro-stabilized camera heads with which camera movements can be performed in 1D, 2D or 3D and that are integrated with the Robycam cabling system. Together with a sophisticated remote control, Robycam generates impressive images, never before achieved. In the RobyHead heads, independent 2/3" cameras can be installed and the system offers great speed of movement, up to 8 m/s in all axes.

Broadcast Ultrasoft

With this powerful set of software programs, audiovisual product users will be able to streamline their work processes and manage production, playback and sales from a single tool.

Broadcast Ultrasoft is a software tool that manages virtually all processes of a television station. When working in IP Base, there are various modules with which the audiovisual assets (MAM) and the Ingestion, Automation, Control or Scheduling and Summary routines are managed.

VideoReferee

VideoReferee is a video refereeing system that is already being used around the world in a multitude of sports for large tournaments and competitions. This system offers organizers and referees unparalleled opportunities to clarify disputed situations, in order to ensure fairness in competitions. Setting up the system is very simple and referees can use it immediately. The referee can make marks of doubtful situations during continuous recording of up to 16 channels, recover them through the system's own cameras or signals from TV cameras, for example, mobile units.

Aviwest

With Aviwest systems, broadcasting and video professionals will be able to seamlessly capture and deliver live HD or SD video, taking advantage of available 3G/4G, mobile wireless, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and satellite networks. Aviwest uplink systems allow direct camera mounting with V-Mount, Gold Mount or PAGLOK bases. DMNG systems are the perfect solution for online audiovisual and multimedia applications due to their compact design and greater flexibility, reliability and affordability, as well as generating high definition video despite fluctuating or poor quality network conditions.

Prose

The ProSat product range includes a wide variety of antenna products, from the most compact VSAT to large multi-band antenna systems and products in rugged cases. The antennas work with a variety of satellites, including Eutelsat for the Ku-/RF bands, are configurable with automatic satellite search features, and meet Intelsat and Asiasat specifications.

Broadcast cabling

Finally, note that in their production facilities, they manufacture any type of cable and cable drum for all types of applications in the audiovisual sector, with special attention to the production of fiber optic cables.
