África Huerta, new director of RTVE in Murcia
Huerta replaces Juan de Dios Martínez, who takes on informative responsibilities at TVE's Canal 24 Horas (Torrespaña, Madrid).
The RNE Directorate and the TVE Information Services Directorate, at the request of the RTVE Territorial Centers Directorate, have appointed África Huerta as the new head of the RTVE Directorate in Murcia.
Graduated in Information Sciences from the Complutense University, she has developed her entire professional career at RTVE. He began his career at RNE in 1987 at the Valencia station. A year later she was transferred to Murcia, where between 1996-2007, she served as Head of News, a position that she combined with managing the station for a few months.
In July 2007 she joined the editorial staff of Radio 5 in Madrid, as a newsletter editor and after specializing in education in the area of society, in 2012 she joined the news services of TVE. In 2013 she was part of the editing team of RNE's Diario de las dos and in January 2014 she was appointed head of the Madrid local area. In 2015 he received the Silver Antenna from the Association of Radio and Television Professionals of Madrid.
África Huerta replaces Juan de Dios Martínez, who takes on informative responsibilities at TVE's Canal 24 Horas, based in Torrespaña, Madrid. Martínez's management, since his appointment in 2012, has not been free of controversy due to his differences with the RTVE News Committee.
