This solution, called Workflow AB, is an integration developed for the production of series, reality shows and fiction.
Workflow AB integrates technologies from different brands in the broadcast market such as Avid as a core. From the recording card to the video signals, all the media will flow through the solution in an automated way, based on hot folders.
On the part of Avid, Broadcast Area integrates Nexis shared storage into its proposal. This defined storage platform allows you to save and manage media in the most efficient way and a fully virtualized environment so that it is possible to adjust the storage capacity of each project. Next, Interplay MAM makes it easy to quickly search for the assets you need while MediaCentral allows users to access the platform from their browser, with messaging services, playback and editing functions, and real-time access to production assets and all this, also available for Android and iOS.
Along with Avid solutions, Workflow AB integrates Space Echo from GBlabs, an ideal system for near-line storage and backup.
As a quality control system, Broadcast Area has opted for Quales (now integrated into Editshare) that allows you to define personalized analysis projects, and configure the thresholds that will determine different levels of severity (Logging, Warning, Critical...). In this way, the user finds a complement that ensures the correct quality of the content throughout the entire workflow.
Regarding automation of ingestion and transcoding, the chosen option is the Xpress technology from the Portuguese company MOG Technologies. With the Speedrail
Finally, Broadcast Area proposes Quantel Río de SAM as a finishing and color correction system. Pablo Rio stands out for its very high level of quality, its tools are cutting-edge technology and the possibility of working in real time simultaneously and interactively (on the same timeline) between material in SD, HD, 2K, 4K, 6K and 8K
