The 4K Summit 2017 will take place at the Digital Content Center in Malaga

The 4KSummit will turn Malaga from November 8 to 10 into the world capital of Ultra High Definition, bringing together experts, attendees and brands from more than 20 countries.

The Digital Content Pole of Malaga is confirmed as the new location of the 4K Summit 2017 after the success and dynamics of networking, demo area and conferences of the Virtual Reality Observatory, held on July 19 and 20.

Medina Media announced this weekend that finally the 4K Summit, which will take place from November 8 to 10, will be hosted by the Digital Content Pole of Malaga, in view of the success of the Virtual Reality Observatory (OVR17) held in July. The 4KSummit will turn Malaga into the world capital of Ultra High Definition, bringing together experts, attendees and brands from more than 20 countries.

“The dynamics that were achieved at the OVR17 Observatory, especially in the networking areas, the demo areas and the cocktails, in the opinion of all attendees and sponsors, have been decisive in making this decision,” explained Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media, the organizer of the event.

The Digital Content Pole is a 6,000 square meter space located in the old Tabacalera building next to the beach in Malaga. It was inaugurated last June and the OVR Observatory17 in July was the first major event held at its facilities.

On the first floor of the Polo, next to the Auditorium and the Networking area, the Demo Area and the workshops for the sponsoring brands will be located, which will allow more comfortable transit between the different spaces. In addition, attendees will be able to access a Show Room with 12 Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality devices on the three days of the event.
In addition to the Polo Auditorium, various projection rooms and 4K-UHD televisions will be set up to follow the sessions, which this year will have simultaneous translation to facilitate the attendance and participation of those who do not speak English at an expert level in these new technologies.
