EVS and HBS will organize courses on sports production at IBC

Courses led by Broadcast Academy are designed to help attendees develop their talent and enable the growth of the next generation of broadcast and production professionals.

HBS y EVS are coming together again, this time in partnership with IBC, to offer two training courses during the show for aspiring sports broadcasting professionals. Courses led by Broadcast Academy are designed to help attendees develop their talent and enable the growth of the next generation of broadcast and production professionals.

The courses will take place on Sunday, September 17 and will be divided into two sessions. The morning session Train Tomorrow’s Stars, will be dedicated to multi-camera sports production for newcomers to the industry, while the afternoon course will focus on promoting women in sports production and directing.

These courses will be led by New Zealand Broadcast Academy expert Riki van Steeden, a highly qualified live production director who has coordinated multiple high-profile events around the world. He currently works with HBS preparing the live production of the main international football events. The courses also have the collaboration of EVS operator Jan Mokallai, who has extensive experience in the production of ice hockey, basketball, soccer and volleyball broadcasts.
