ARRI celebrates one hundred years of history at IBC
The Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam hosts a massive celebration with which the German manufacturer celebrates its centenary at the forefront of the industry.
This IBC will be very special for the manufacturer of lighting and camera systems ARRI since it coincides with his centenary birthday. On the eve of the opening of the fair, ARRI held a party at the Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam for more than a thousand people including clients, filmmakers and the specialized press to commemorate one hundred years since August Arnold and Robert Richter founded the company.
Visitors to its stand at IBC will be able to find premium camera equipment such as Alexa SXT W, Alexa Mini and Amira along with high-end lenses, stabilization systems and a wide range of accessories for professional shooting. ARRI lighting products, such as the high-quality SkyPanel, L and M series LED lights, are just some of the lighting products and accessories on display. Visitors to the ARRI booth can also experience the latest offerings from cloud services, ARRI Webgate and get an exclusive glimpse of the upcoming iOS app.
SkyPanel
The popular SkyPanel family of soft LED LEDs just got bigger with the launch of ARRI's biggest and brightest SkyPanel to date: the S360-C. Not only is the S360-C powerful, it is full of interesting features, making it one of the most versatile LED luminaires on the market. Features include full color control, lighting effects in a large light aperture, integrated wireless DMX, a unique carbon fiber fork and much more. The perfect wireless solution for ARRI SkyPanels is also available.
ARRI also proposes saying goodbye to DMX cables with SkyLink. Fully compatible with all SkyPanel models, SkyLink is a two-part system that allows DMX and RDM wireless communication with SkyPanel fixtures.
ARRI will also introduce a new camera stabilization system at IBC. The new ARRI Stabilized Remote Head SRH-3 is extremely compact and lightweight, while being able to carry three times its own weight. Their line of Master Grips has also expanded.
On the other hand, it is worth noting that the IBC Big Screen, ARRI is inviting prominent professionals in the sector such as Peter Doyle, a Technicolor supervising colorist and Ari Robbins, steadicam operator in La La Land to talk about his latest projects.
