More creative capabilities with Adobe Creative Cloud
Adobe Creative Cloud's new capabilities in virtual reality, animation and motion graphics drive more creative possibilities.
Adobe has announced new advances in its Creative Cloud proposal in relation to virtual reality (VR)/360, motion graphics, editing and collaboration. Many of these features are made possible by Adobe Sensei, Adobe's artificial intelligence and machine learning framework.
Bryan Lamkin, senior vice president of Digital Media at Adobe, "Video is the fastest growing media and entertainment medium. Whether you're an online video creator, an international production company, or a filmmaker, you need to deliver high-quality content across all platforms and formats at high speed. Adobe is innovating capabilities that facilitate collaboration, social sharing, and analytics to help video creators accelerate their workflows."
New Adobe Creative Cloud capabilities available later this year will include new templates for Motion Graphics. Now editors who want to work with dynamic, professional graphics or graphics packages created in After Effects such as titles, labels, banners or end credits will soon be able to access Motion Graphics templates directly from Adobe Stock through the Creative Cloud libraries. In addition, Adobe has improved the usability of the Essential Graphics panel in Premiere Pro, including options for responsive design that preserve the relationship of the original space-time dimensions.
Character Animator 1.0 comes with changes to basic and customizable animation functions such as “pose-to-pose fusion” for more harmonious movement, new behaviors according to physical laws, and visual controls of the character. Adobe Sensei helps improve lip-syncing capabilities by precisely matching the shape of your mouth to spoken sounds.
VR a Premiere Pro
Meanwhile, VR video creation will be possible thanks to a unique viewing environment in Premiere Pro. Editors will be able to experience highly engaging content qualities, review their timeline, and edit using keyboard shortcuts to trim and markup while wearing the same VR headset as their audience. Additionally, audio can be set based on orientation or position and exported as ambisonic audio for VR-enabled platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. Thanks to Adobe's Mercury playback engine, virtual reality effects and transitions are now rendered natively and faster.
With the introduction of Team Projects, Adobe has improved collaborative workflows on the local network with controlled access features that allow users to lock projects or offer read-only access to third parties. The launch of Team Projects, previously in beta, will offer much more agile Creative Cloud-hosted workflows and the ability to more easily manage different versions thanks to autosave history.
Adobe Audition brings flexible session organization to multitrack workflows and continuous playback during editing. Thanks to Adobe Sensei technology, the auto-ducking function has been added to the Essential Sound panel, which automatically adjusts audio levels depending on the type, whether it is dialogue, background sound or music.
