Pepe Quílez

The Aragonese journalist Pepe Quílez, current general director of Radiotelevisión Aragón, has been appointed as the new director of the Territorial Center of Radio Televisión Española in Aragon, based in Zaragoza, a position he will take over next Monday, October 2.

Quílez, a journalist and APM from IE Business School, is currently vice president of the Academy of Television Sciences and Arts. He began his professional career at Cope Zaragoza, a radio station of which he was editor-in-chief. In 1987 he joined TVE as head of the Information Services of the Territorial Center of Aragon, a position in which he remained for 9 years, to be later appointed director of TVE Aragón until 2002.

From 2005 to the present he has been general director of the regional radio and television of Aragon. Professor of the Master's Degree in Advanced Integral Communication, he has developed most journalistic genres throughout his career, for which he has won numerous awards, including the Talent Award of the Television Academy and the Journalism Award of the Aragon Press Association.
