'The Fury' is filmed, a modern tragedy produced by Ringo Media
Gemma Blasco debuts in feature film format with 'La Furia', a film produced by Ringo Media with the participation of RTVE, TV3, Aragon TV y of the movie whose filming has already begun in Barcelona.
Blasco, director of the documentaries Nuances, Ways to play y pack, as well as the experimental work in Zoo, debuts in fiction in feature film format with At Fury, a work defined as a “modern tragedy.” He feature film, which is already filming in Barcelona, tells the story of how two brothers face a rape.
The filming of At Fury is developing in Barcelona and surroundings and in the town of Torrevelilla (Teruel). It is a production of Ringo Media and has the participation of RTVE, TVC, Aragón TV, Filmin and with financing from the ICAA, Government of Aragon and ICEC. Filmax is in charge of national distribution.
The project has been developed in Torino Film Lab Extended, New Horizons Studio+, CIMA Mentoring, Dama Ayuda or Mallorca Talents Labs. In addition, it has been present at the FICG Mexico and Brussels Coproduction Market markets, where it won several industry awards.
This is the synopsis of At Fury, starring Ángela Cervantes and Álex Monner: "Alexandra, a young actress, is raped during the celebration of a New Year's Eve party. She could not see her attacker, and throughout the following year she will face guilt, disgust and shame. While she tries to channel all that pain through the theater, her brother Adrián faces the rage for not having known how to protect his sister and the impulse to let himself be carried away by his own decisions. The time when his problems were normal of any family, they are already part of the past.”
