TVE and Focus Audiovisual shoot the TV movie 'The inhabitants of the uninhabited house'

Spanish Television and Focus Audiovisual have started filming in Madrid The inhabitants of the uninhabited house, a TV movie that updates the well-known play by Enrique Jardiel Poncela. David Janer, Guillermo Ortega, Pedro Casablanc, Elisa Matilla and Fernando Esteso lead the cast of this television adaptation.

The inhabitants of the uninhabited house It is one of the most critically recognized works in Jardiel Poncela's repertoire. RTVE renews and revitalizes this contemporary classic of absurd humor, which mixes suspense, comedy and horror.

The film tells the story of Diego (David Janer), an investigative journalist, and his agent Óscar (Guillermo Ortega), who suffer a small car accident during the night, finding themselves in a gloomy and desolate place. A rural guard warns them not to spend the night in the only possible shelter for miles around: a country house where strange phenomena happen.

In the “uninhabited” house, strange characters will appear that will test the mettle of the protagonists. Diego and Óscar will infiltrate each other, posing as the new employees, in order to be able to unravel the mess. The biggest surprise will be finding Silvia in the house, the woman who abandoned Diego when they were about to get married...

RTVE is once again betting on its own fiction production with this tvmovie starring David Janer, who returns to TVE after nine seasons in Red Eagle, Guillermo Ortega, Pedro Casablanc, Elisa Matilla, Fernando Esteso, Itsaso Arana, Ana Azorín, Paco Churruca, Inés Kerzan and Nacho Marraco.
