Impulsa Visión RTVE bets on multichannel and binaural sound for its self-promotion on RNE
This wedge has been conceived from the beginning as a multichannel audio production, with a choral language and a sound aesthetic that is very different from conventional stereophonic patterns.
Impulsa Visión RTVE, RTVE's startup accelerator, has decided to imprint its character of disruptive innovation on the radio spot of the third edition of its entrepreneurship program.
This wedge has been conceived from the beginning as a multichannel audio production, with a choral language and a sound aesthetic that is very different from conventional stereophonic patterns. It has contributed its vision about the evolution of sound in the radio medium, as long as the appropriate steps are taken so that in the future radio content can be massively produced and distributed in multichannel audio.
As an intermediate step to this distribution, binaural sound has also been used as a possible resource between multichannel native sound and stereo. In this way, by constructing the binaural sound from the final multichannel mix, a result is obtained that is approximate to the original and can be broadcast on any platform, the only requirement for which to enjoy it is the use of headphones.
In any case, if you wish, you can also download and listen to the spot in native multichannel sound. To do this, it is necessary to have the appropriate audio equipment, which includes a 5.1 speaker layout and a device capable of playing content encoded in Dolby Digital Plus.
This spot has been possible thanks to the collaboration of great voices from Radio Nacional de España such as Amaya Prieto, Juan San Ildefonso and Juan Suárez, as well as the enthusiastic production and production of RNE's Sound Fiction team.
Finally, it should be noted that Impulsa Visión is looking for innovative projects in the audiovisual sector and has open the call for its third edition until next December 20. More information, here.
