Prisa TV and REDACCION7 finalize the premiere on TVE's La 1 of 'Disappeared'

Journalist Silvia Intxaurrondo heads a new research and public service program directed by Paco Lobatón.

Silvia Intxaurrondo will present Missing, a new research and public service program directed by Paco Lobatón that will arrive on La 1 at the beginning of 2018. A current format with reports, interviews, locations and a whole array of information that will request citizen collaboration and use innovative resources.

Intxaurrondo (Baracaldo, 1979) has a degree in Journalism from the University of Navarra and in Arabic Philology from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Master's degree in Contemporary Arab and Islamic Studies. He began his career in 2001 on 'Hoy por hoy', on Cadena SER, and in 2005 he moved to television on CNN+. Since the 2006-2007 season he co-presented Noticias Cuatro in prime time with Iñaki Gabilondo, with whom he also presented the current affairs program 'Hoy' on CNN+ from 2010 onwards.

In 2011 she returned to the radio and was part of the working group of W Radio in Colombia, and from September 2012 to May 2013 she was deputy director of 'Hoy por hoy'.

In 2014 he presented the daily current affairs program ETB today of ETB2 and in 2015 the weekly space 'Finally, Friday!'. In September of that year he returned to Cuatro to take charge of the weekly debate program 'Un tiempo Nuevo'. Since September 2017 he has directed and presented Weekend Telenews on Telemadrid.

Paco Lobatón returns

Missing, directed by Paco Lobatón, a reference in our country on the subject of disappearances, is a production by RTVE in collaboration with Rush TV y REDacción7. Un formato plenamente actual que contará con un equipo de ‘buscadores’ que abordarán cada uno de los casos en los lugares donde ocurrió. Reportajes, entrevistas, localizaciones… todo un despliegue de información para solicitar la colaboración ciudadana y su participación activa, utilizando recursos innovadores.

Desde la Corporación aseguran que este espacio será riguroso y cuidadoso con las emociones que cuenta con la colaboración del Centro Nacional de Desaparecidos. En España hay en la actualidad más de 4.164 desapariciones no resueltas. De ellas, 214 de alto riesgo.
