‘Incerta glòria’ and ‘Estiu 1993’ lead the nominations for the Gaudí Awards
About thirty films will compete for the Gaudí Awards in its tenth edition, whose award ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 28 at the Forum-CCIB Auditorium (Barcelona).
Agustí Villaronga, with uncertain glory, and Carla Simón, with Summer 1993, lead the nominations in the tenth edition of the Gaudí Awards awarded by the Catalan Film Academy.
El acto de lectura de los nominados se ha celebrado este jueves en la Antigua Fábrica Estrella Damm y ha contado con la presencia de prensa, candidatos de los premios, académicos y académicas y los actores Àlex Brendemühl y Nora Navas, ambos galardonados en anteriores ediciones y encargados, este año, de leer los finalistas en las 22 categorías de los premios del cine catalán. Agustí Villaronga's film has obtained 16 nominations, thus equaling those it received in 2012. Eva, and exceeding 15 of Bye black (2011), while sleepings (2012) and The Child (2015). It is noteworthy that of the 30 nominated films, 12 are directed by women. David Verdaguer will be the presenter of the next Gaudí gala, which will be directed for the second consecutive year by Lluís Danés and will be held on January 28 at the Auditori Fòrum (Barcelona). Verdaguer has also been nominated in two categories, as lead actor for Mainland and as secondary in Summer 1993.
