The director of blockbusters such as 'Three Meters Above the Sky' and 'Palm Trees in the Snow' will also develop film projects for the Mediapro group.

Fernando González MolinaGlobomedia has signed the director Fernando González Molina in order to undertake new fiction projects. Films as blockbusters as Brain drain, Three meters above the sky o I want you, endorse his meteoric career as a director.

With a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra and with studies in Film Direction, González Molina rejoins Globomedia as showrunner to develop fiction projects from its initial phase, contributing his ingenuity throughout the creative process. Your connection with the group Mediapro It is part of a global agreement in which, in addition to creating new series for Globomedia, it will also develop film projects. An alliance that will also allow González Molina to carry out other work to which he had previously committed.

“I want to thank Fernando for bringing us back his talent, his instinct and his sensitivity that have captivated so many viewers,” commented Javier Pons, general director of Globomedia.

For his part, Fernando González Molina showed his enthusiasm to return to the production company: "I feel happy to return to the place where I was given my first opportunities and to which I owe so much. Globomedia was for me the place where I directed my first series, filmed my first film, a place to which I have always felt very emotionally attached. Having the opportunity to now develop both television and film fiction projects with them is a real luxury for me and I hope it will be the beginning of a long-lasting and fruitful collaboration."

Gonzalez Molina returns to Globomedia where he developed a good part of his career in the television field with hits such as one step forward o Paco's men —series of which he was director for six seasons—, the ship o Moon, the mystery of Calenda, in which he served as director and executive producer.

His latest works include directing the thriller The Invisible Guardian (first film of the Baztán Trilogy) and the documentary The best day of my life, about stories of people from different parts of the world who come together in Madrid during the World Pride celebration.
