The station, belonging to the TV Rey de Occident audiovisual group, has equipped its first two studios with the ultra-compact AEQ Capitol IP consoles.
EXA Radio 98.1FM, the new radio station City of Zamora (Mexico) belonging to the audiovisual group TV Rey de Occidente, has equipped its first two studios with the ultracompact consoles AEQ Capitol IP.
This digital audio mixing console features a fixed 8 fader configuration. Its features are based on those of the previous Capitol console, but with the experience of the previous model, its surface has been redesigned with new silent keys, more programmable keys and a new layout of the monitoring section controls.
The implementation of the IP connectivity is based on a single module with 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated into the “core” of the console.
The table incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut-off, cough cut-off, fader-start, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication...
Its studied configuration and its very reduced size (motor with 2 rack units and 19” wide control surface) adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, booth control, mobile units, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations...
The EXA Radio project has been led by the station's director, Víctor Godinez Sahún, in collaboration with AEQ's technical services and the brand's commercial manager in Mexico, César Reyna.
