AEQ's Capitol IP console lands on Indonesian radio RRI PRO 1

Indonesia's RRI Pro 1 radio has renovated its Banten studio with the Capitol IP digital console from AEQ.

RRI, founded in 1945, stands as the national public broadcaster in Indonesia. Currently it has four main channels called RRI1, RR2, RR3 y RR4 and an international channel known as Voice of Indonesia.

Traditionally, RRI had worked with analog material. However, the station is firmly undertaking its transition to technology digital. The first major project in this area has been the modernization of its main studio of the city Banten, which has been built around the console Capitol IP the AEQ.

AEQ Capitol IP is a fixed configuration digital audio mixing console of 8 canales whose implementation of IP connectivity is based on a single module with 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated into its “core”.

Among its main qualities stands out its wide available ticket capacity: 4 mic/line, 12 analog, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links; 16 AoIP channels over two Ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels via fiber optic input.
