Creole Radio, a private radio station located in Ciudad de Praia (Cape Verde), has renovated its studios by implementing the ultra-compact digital console AEQ Capitol IP.

The station broadcasts on different islands of the archipelago using the two frequencies available: 99.4FM for Praia and 88.5FM for Tafarral with varied generalist programming, with strong local content, both informative and musical.

To renew its facilities, the company's technical management contacted ABSS, choosing to integrate the ultra-compact digital console, AEQ Capitol. The idea was to have a modern mixer, 100% digital, small but powerful, easy to operate and simple to maintain, and that is where AEQ Capitol fit perfectly.

Creole Radio AEQ Capitol IP is a digital audio mixing console from fixed 8 fader configuration. Its features are based on those of the previous Capitol console with silent keys, more programmable keys and a new layout of the monitoring section controls.

In this console the implementation of the IP connectivity It is based on a single module with 16 input channels and 16 output channels, incorporated into its “core”. In addition, it makes available to both large and small stations the latest multichannel digital audio technology over IP at a more than reasonable price and with the highest features for Radio and Television stations.

AEQ Capitol IP incorporates all the basic characteristics necessary in these types of environments: automatic cut-off of monitors, cut-off cough, fader-start, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication... Its studied configuration and its very small size, 2 rack unit motor and 19" wide control surface, adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, booth control, mobile units, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc.
