Michael Bohlin returns to Genelec to lead international sales

Bohlin began his career in professional audio in 1994, working with Studioteknik, Genelec's distributor.

The Finnish manufacturer of professional audio monitoring equipment, Genelec, has appointed Michael Bohlin as director of international sales. Bohlin returns to the company after having started his career at Genelec 25 years ago.

Recognized and respected in the European industry, Bohlin will be based in Stockholm, reporting to General Sales Director, Ole Jensen, with responsibility for the development and support of key distributor and user networks.

Bohlin began his career in the world of professional audio in 1994, working with Studioteknik, Genelec's distributor, as a national representative of the brand: “Two of the first people I met were Lars-Olof Janflod from Genelec and Jarmo Masko from Studioteknik, so that was the beginning of some very influential relationships,” Bohlin acknowledged.

In recent years, He developed a long career within Avid, in managed sales within the Nordic territories.
