Accedo launches Tata Sky's mobile video service in India
Tata Sky has chosen Accedo to create the most engaging mobile video experience possible, comprising sports, news and over 5,000 entertainment titles.
The Indian operator Tata Sky has launched its mobile video service thanks to the technology of I'm coming, whose technology will allow the development of live video and unified live video services, as well as an on-demand experience (VOD) on web, Android and iOS devices.
As one of India's leading content distribution platforms, Tata Sky has opted for Accedo to create the most engaging mobile video experience possible, comprising sports, news and more than 5,000 entertainment titles, in addition to a seven-day television service.
To ensure the best user experience, Accedo sought to identify and understand behavioral patterns of Tata Sky subscribers and OTT consumers at large through discovery workshops and focus groups and daily study exercises. The team worked on each platform individually, defining information architecture, wireframes, and visual designs across multiple platforms, and ensuring compliance with design guidelines post-launch.
Matt Kossatz, vice president for Asia-Pacific at Accedo, highlights that "people in India love their television and want to watch it anytime, anywhere, even when they are on the move. With our global UX expertise, we can help companies like Tata Sky not only meet their customers' demands, but also exceed them by making their television experience available on any device."
