FileCatalyst announces faster file transfer for the Glookast ecosystem

Thanks to the partnership between the two companies, users of Glookast solutions will have transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps.

FileCatalyst has announced a new ISV integration to provide file transfer acceleration to all users of ISV solutions. Glookast. Now, applications that take advantage of Glookast products, from baseband capture and file ingestion to media services in parking, retrieving and transcoding, will be able to rely on FileCatalyst's leading file transfer technology.

Users now have the capabilities to implement integrated solutions in any Glookast product, since the integration itself is carried out by the new Glookast media gateway, a plug-in-based connectivity platform. Glookast solutions are divided into two product families. The Gloobox family automates controls and standardizes baseband and IP capture as well as file-based consumption.

The Glooport family of load-balanced cluster-based services offers local or remote file input, media and recovery, transcoding and file output capabilities via email folders and API integrations for a variety of different platforms.

By integrating FileCatalyst Direct, a server-to-server application suite that accelerates peer-to-peer file transfer at speeds up to 10 Gbps, Glookast users can leverage the benefits of fast transfer technology to streamline their workflows and maximize efficiency.
