Imagine Communications develops a powerful analysis and business intelligence tool
xG Scorecard offers media professionals a comprehensive, complete and highly visual view of audience and performance data, allowing them to make smarter advertising, sales and programming decisions.

Ton Cotney, new CEO of Imagine Communications, has presented at NAB 2018 the lines on which the company will develop its activity, focusing on servers and storage, automation and master control, virtual playout and IP,
hybrid IP networks; SDN, control and orchestration, IP processing and workflows.
Among its new features at this fair is xG Scorecard, a powerful analysis and business intelligence tool designed specifically for the media sector. This solution offers media professionals a comprehensive, complete and highly visual view of audience and performance data, allowing them to make smarter advertising, sales and programming decisions.
The expansion of content distribution options has made it difficult for media companies to easily and accurately track consumer and demographic data, undermining their ability to maximize advertising revenue. xG Scorecard is a powerful analysis tool designed to allow media companies to concentrate all the data related to the optimization of their business in a single view that can be customized to respond to the needs of specific users and managers.
The multi-source capabilities of the xG Scorecard make it possible to combine data from traditional sales and traffic systems, operations databases, ratings, visit data and even social networks to build a comprehensive view of audiences with real-time information. By uniting data that is typically stored in silos, the xG Scorecard offers a powerful and highly visual way to evaluate and adjust your business performance.
The xG Scorecard is named for its ability to provide an interactive display that brings together information from across businesses and allows advertising-supported media companies to explore, interpret, personalize and organize data. This new capability makes disaggregating data easier than ever. The xG Scorecard's visual filters allow anyone to navigate their data and collaboration tools enable collective discussion and analysis.
Fiji TV and Globo TV
Imagine Communications has announced at NAB 2017 the successful completion of a major project for Fiji Television, moving Fiji One's broadcast operations to a new custom-built, ground-up site. The project was completed without any interruption on Fiji One's 24-hour news channel, which is one of the most popular and trusted news networks in the Asia-Pacific region.
Imagine provided the foundation of news operations, including four Nexio+ AMP HD video servers and Versio IOX SAN high-performance online shared storage, running as software instances on standard Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE) servers. This enhancement is an important step for any customer considering a transition to the next generation of playback solutions like Imagine's Versio platform. Along with storage networking, Imagine also offers Fiber Channel switches and a Platinum VX array for baseband switching. The new network includes a Nexio NLE Gateway server to enable comprehensive integration of Apple's Final Cut Pro editing tools.
On the other hand, Imagine has provided the key components of a studio relocation and modernization project at the Recife facilities of Globo TV, one of the largest broadcasters in Latin America. The new hybrid SDI-IP installations, which are based on IP-enabled processing, monitoring and control solutions from Imagine Communications, have been designed to help Globo TV reduce costs in the long term, minimizing the complexity of operations and helping the company keep pace with changing market demands through convenient integration of future standards and technological improvements.
